A Practice Rooted in Presence and Interconnection
The "Our Planet" began during the lockdown of 2020. It was inspired by the Netflix documentary series Our Planet narrated by David Attenborough. At this time it was not possible for most of us to get out and explore the natural world, the only way to experience it was through our screens. This painting was inspired by the "Frozen Worlds" episode and the heart-breaking scene of the over-crowded walrus colony due to melting sea ice.
made with watercolour and gouache on Fabriano 100% cotton paper.
This giclee print is signed and professionally printed with museum grade, light-fast inks on Somerset Velvet 100% cotton archival paper (EU version is printed on Hahnmühle hemp paper) and is part of a limited edition of 30 in 2 sizes:
Small 54cm x 35cm ( 21"x 14"approx )
Large 51cm x 81cm (32"x 20" approx )
including the signature and a little space around
All prints will be shipped in a cardboard tube- up to 4 prints of this size can be shipped in 1 tube so shipping costs will remain the same up to 4 items.
All items are shipped Royal Mail with a tracked and signed for delivery.
Items within the EU will be shipped from my printer in Portugal so will not incur customs fees :-)
